| M.C. Escher(June 1898-March 1972) a Dutch Graphic Artist most recognized for his repeating geometric patterns (tessellations) and incredible technique for spatial illusions. He was studied and greatly appreciated by respected crystallographers, mathematicians, and scientists yet he had no formal training in math or science. All of his work requires more than just a quick glance as you never know what you might miss the first time around. |
