| Ross Powers - Considered snowboarding's first child prodigy. Ross competed in his first U.S. Open at the age of 9, while his 4th grade class watched. As a freshman in high school, Ross became the youngest National Champion ever. Ross has continued to dominate at the national level by winning 3 of the last National Championships in the halfpipe. Internationally, Ross has continued his run as 'The First, The Youngest, and The Best.' 1998 Olympic Bronze Medal. 1998 U.S. National Championships and 1999 ISF World Championships top American. 2000 ISF Halfpipe World Champion. |
