| In winter time, the only way to reach the lost valley of Zanskar from Ladak is by walking on the frozen sides of the river. Photographer, Olivier Follmi...Photographer of light, deeply touched by the Himalayan world, Olivier Follmi has been working for 20 years in the Zanskar region, with his wife, in order to capture the beauty of the landscapes and people. In 1989 they adopted two Tibetan children, Motup and Diskit. A wonderful love story was born between two worlds. In 1990 Olivier Follmi*s photo *Chemin de l*Himalaya* received the World Press Photo Award. Olivier and his wife have founded HOPE(Himalayan Organization for People and Education) in Neuchatel (Switzerland). |
