| Construction began on Fort Point in 1853 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Long deserted and left to natures destructive powers this fine specimen of brick and granite 19th century military construction.. This limited edition numbered print is one of 750 by Nick Gleis. Nick Gleis' artistic use of traditional photography, coupled with cutting edge digital technology sets him apart as an artist. Printed on Heavy Weight Semi Gloss paper. The print features Gray text, Black border, and a Gray Matte. Note that the outer border is a 'printed Matte', with the pattern of an actual paper matte. Once behind glass it appears as the real thing and looks fantastic, thus saving the cost of purchasing a separate Matte. |
